EXCITEMENT!!

OMG!!
basically there was a really cute guy on the check in desk at Melbourne who said he wanted to wish me a Merry Christmas- and upgraded me to BUSINESS CLASS!! How cool is that?!?!
So right now I'm in Sydney airport having waltzed through security with my express pass... in the Business lounge! Theres the most AMAZING buffet avaliable... I may have already had too much to eat :S and SOUTHERN COMFORT- so I've helped myself to some of that!! Theres SOOO much alcohol avaliable its ridiculous... I am trying to be self-restrained... as I'm pretty sure there will be more on offer when I get on board! As you can tell they also have free internet here!
Its so peaceful here, unlike airports usually are, with comfy sofas etc- i want to get out my camera to take a few pictures but am not sure if that would go down well... perhaps I'll take a sneaky few on my way out- even here theres champagne sitting staring at me saying drink me, drink me! Theres also a v pretty view of the Sydney skyline... I'm looking forward to my plane journey- it makes it all alot easier as its definitely taking my mind off things...

Right, the last few days I have stayed at my relatives in Melbourne- I went up to Ballarat with Amy (my cousin) for a few days to see my Grandad and some more relatives. (I won't list all the names- we could be here awhile and its likely to be confusing!) We went on a wander across the lake(!), went to Mackers, watched Carols in the Park (with the wiggles!) and chatted. Back in Melbourne I went to the bank to get some US$- amazingly crap exchange rate right now :S, went shopping- I now have a Melbourne badge which I "sowed" on myself (soph will be proud- just don't mention the fact I ironed it on!) Also I met Amy for lunch from her work and she took me to a cafe where EVERYTHING is chocolate- literally! It was too hot for hot chocolate but I had a chocolate lick- basically a bowl full of melted chocolate...mmm
I have managed to get my bag abit lighter- me and my aunt Janis emptied everything and got rid of everything we possibly could- alot of it is in parcels on the way home now! It went from 24kgs to just over 18.5 or so- definitely a good start :) not quite the 10kg I'm supposed to have altogether... but its definitely a HUGE improvement
My relatives were so supportive in helping me get through this hard time it was brilliant :)
Am not looking forward to Christmas but will have to wait and see how it works out- I'll just have to deal with it
HAPPY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE
xxxx
